Beauty how-to: Gabriella Wilde’s 5 best beauty moments and how to steal her ethereal yet smouldering makeup
Whimsical beauty, Gabriella Wilde, is one Brit girl on my radar.
She first appeared on the style set after her role in Doctor Who’s TV series back in 2010 and has since wowed in the remake of Endless Love last year and her many gigs modelling for Burberry.
She’s recently made waves in the media after being named the newest face Estee Lauder – not a role to smirk at!
Her stunning looks have caught the attention of many of her muses, including the global beauty company, and are only getting prettier and more perfected each year.
Gabriella will be joining the brands other gorgeous ambassadors including Joan Smalls, Arizona Muse and Kendall Jenner. Woop!
Here I show you her best beauty looks captured at red carpet events and fashion shows.
They all share a common similarity; long dishevelled hair that looks freshly washed and clean luminous skin.
She’s also mastered a few makeup tricks that work well for her skin tone and facial features, I’m going to highlight those for you to steal as well!
Gabriella Wilde has gone for effortless beauty here. This look would have taken only mere minutes to complete after mastering a sheer, even base.
The key beauty tool? A kohl eyeliner. Simply draw onto the outer V of your eye and gently smudge it out a little with your index finger or with a clean Q- tip, and that’s it!
I recommend using Clinique’s KohlShaper for Eyes in Black, $36. I also love that this bad boy comes with an inbuilt sharper for your pencil on the lid. No need to waste time in the future looking for your sharpener when your pencil goes blunt.
Sexy Smokey Eyes
Here she has kept great balance pairing a soft pink lip in an opaque formulation with sexy smokey eyes that offset her beautiful blue peepers!
To recreate this beauty look I’d use the Benefit Smokin Eyes kit, $36.
This pretty palette contains everything you need to define your eyes including two pink shades, a chocolate brown, dark grey and a slate-toned silver.
It also has a black eyeliner, a tiny double-ended makeup brush and a pair of tweezers to tidy up unruly eyebrows. A definite winner!
Big Bold Lips
3. The beauty hero here? Most definitely Gab’s bold red pout with orange undertones.
This is not an easy lip to pull off, but paired with her glowy complexion and stunning purple pigmented eyelids, it’s absolutely stellar!
Try Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Impassioned, $50. It’s honestly the most luxurious, creamy orange/red I’ve ever worn.
The English Rose
Being an English girl, it’s only fitting I show you guys how to pull off her simply stunning ‘English rose beauty look’. She wore this pretty rose-tined lip to Burberry’s A/W 2013 showing.
Paired with well-manicured eyebrows eyelashes lengthened with a few coats of black mascara, you really can’t beat this look.
To copy her pout, I suggest using none other than Burberry’s Lip Cover in – wait for it – English Rose, $49.
Glowy ‘I just took a vacay in St. Tropez’ skin
This last look was a little trickier to decode (but my fave!).
At first I noticed that her lips were smeared with the prettiest pearlescent colour, her lashes elongated and that there was a mysterious sweep of grey eyeshadow across her lids – but those I all but pushed aside.
I finally realised it was her glowy, sun-kissed skin that had me meowing like a smitten kitten!
To get her healthy glow I recommend Bobbi Brown’s Brightening Finishing Powder in Bronze Glow, $72.
This compact is VERY big on pretty.
Are you a Gabriella fan? Is she your new beauty crush?
