Friday Shelfie #2
Happy Friday everyone!
Here are my favourite beauty picks for the week including a packet of organic makeup wipes, something fun for the shower, a luxe facial oil, a sheer facial moisturiser and my choice of micellar water.
Lush Santa Fun
I’ve always enjoyed Lush’s Fun bars. They are fantastic at cleaning every inch of your body (including hair even!) while being fun to play with – they are similar to play dough where you can mould them into anything you like.
The above Santa Fun bar is part of the Lush 2015 Christmas collection hitting stores soon. You will love the scent of jasmine and ylang ylang and the stunning gold glittery section that will add a gorgeous luminous look to your skin. I love that the glitter is 100% environmentally friendly too as it’s made from natural sources including seaweed.
Wot Not Organic Facial Wipes
I’ve fallen in love with Wot Not’s Natural Organic Facial Wipes for oily to sensitive skin. The Australian made brand selects the most gorgeous organic ingredients to place in their wipes including pink grapefruit, papaya, rosehip and petitgrain. These all help to wipe away a days worth of makeup in a second (even water proof mascara) while covering your skin in beautiful extracts that will feed your skin with goodness.

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Moisturiser
Ole Henriksen’s Sheer Transformation Moisturiser has quickly become one of my all time favourites. The silky formula spreads all over the face with ease and absorbs so fast. With key ingredients like vitamin C complex, licorice root and pea extract, it’s no wonder this little tub of goodness can hydrate and reduce the look of uneven skin including pigmentation and even reduce the look of fine lines. I definitely recommend this lightweight cream to anyone. You will adore it.

Tarte Maracuja Facial Oil
If you are wondering what maracuja oil is, it’s basically the oil pressed from passionfruit that’s extremely high in vitamin C. It’s known for it’s ability to hydrate and plump the skin, but also lighten any imperfections. I picked up this oil from Sydney Sephora and have been applying it to my cheeks and my lips at night to try and blur some of my freckles. I’ve found that this clear oil (it’s not golden like rosehip) has given my complexion such a healthy glow. I love it!

Swisse Micellar Makeup Remover
Last on my second addition of ‘Friday Shelfie’ is this large bottle of Swisse Micellar Makeup Removing Water. Micellar water is so popular at the moment, mainly due to the fact that such a lightweight formula can actually remove the toughest makeup in a flash. I was a bit sceptical at first, and thought that it wouldn’t really do that much. I quickly found that if I soak a cotton pad in Swisse’s Micellar Water I can remove the darkest, most heavy smokey eye in seconds and not have red, sore, blotchy eyes. One to add to basket fo sho!
