Big beauty launch: I’m so excited for Lancome’s new Juicy Shakers to be released in Australia in 2016!
We all know and love Lancome’s Juicy Tubes. Correction: we all know and are obsessed with Lancome’s Juicy Tubes.
So I have some exciting news! This year the luxury French beauty brand is releasing a brand new lip product that has all the deliciousness of the iconic Juicy Tube, but with a new and innovative formulation in, what I would describe as ‘I-must-have-one-in-every-colour’ packaging.
Say hello to Lancome’s Juicy Shakers – the lip product soon to be in every girl’s handbag.
Looking a lot like a cocktail shaker, this lip pigment requires the user to shake the little bottle before applying the richly coloured ointment to the lips.
It contains a unique, ‘two-phase’ formula (containing pigments and caring oils) that allows you to build up your lip colour coverage, exactly how you would your foundation. How? In the first phase it will give your lips a shiny colour (just don’t shake the bottle), basically coating your lips in the caring oils which have a subtle shade.
The second phase (if you shake the bottle profusely) is all about providing an intense lip shade in a gloss varnish. By shaking the bottle, both the caring oils and vivid lip colour at the bottom mix perfectly giving you crazy colour payoff and an opaque finish.
Lancome’s Juicy Shaker literally melts on the lips once you start applying it thanks to its main four ingredients: peach seed oil to soften and nourish, sweet almond oil to restore, cranberry oil for its amazing antioxidants and high levels of Omega 3 and 6 (which help to retain lip moisture) and muscat rose oil to regenerate and soothe the delicate skin.
Not only is the actual formula ground-breaking, but the top of the bottle features Lancome’s first, and very unique, dome cushion applicator which is soft and velvety to touch. The round shape perfectly hugs the contour of your lips making it a breeze to apply.
There will be 20 shades available to purchase, all of them absolutely stunning and vibrant.
The international launch date is spring 2016 (in the Northern Hemisphere), so here in Australia we will probably get them after the 20th of March. I’ll keep you updated!
