Get Ellery’s MBFWA S/S 15/16 Beauty look thanks to MAC Global Makeup Artist Gordon Espinet

Ellery Spring Summer 15/16 collection – what an absolute cracker!

Kym’s signature 70s sleeves, the razzle dazzle of sparkly tassels and a mixture of high-sheen fabrics made this instalment from the Australian fashion label a real standout at MBFWA.

Aside form the lust-worthy designs, the makeup created by MAC backstage was a perfect compliment to the collection.

If you want to re-create the natural lips and white eyeliner accentuated eyes shown on the catwalk, follow the steps outlined by MAC’s global makeup director Gordon Espinet.

Gordon has described Ellery’s S/S 15/16 look as ‘Youthful, fresh girls with an urban edge… makeup inspired by graphic silhouettes in (Ellery’s) collection.’

Skin was first hydrated with Prep + Prime Fix + ($27) and then primed with Mineralize Timecheck Lotion (yet to be released on counters). Studio Face and Body Foundation ($55) was then lightly buffed into skin with Pro Concealer ($20) and Correct Palette ($65) in Medium.

Boyish brows were brushed up with Eye Brow crayon in Lingering ($30) and were set in place with Brow Set in Clear ($28). Chromacake in White ($50) was then watered down with Fix + ($27) and applied with ‘#209’ Eye Line Brush ($37) for a soft, translucent liner around the eyes.

Hydrated with a Lip Conditioner ($15).

Will you be giving this high-end catwalk beauty look a try? What did you think of Ellery’s most recent offering at MBFWA?
