Review: Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment for healthy and strong nails

If healthy, strong, shiny nails have always been something you’ve always admired, but never had yourself,  here’s a new product to give a go that will have you on your way to an Insta-worthy mani.

I’ve been testing the Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment, $19.95, enriched with avocado oil, sea salt, pomegranate and calcium.

If this sounds more like the makings of a delicious entree, I couldn’t agree more. That’s a pretty healthy and delicious list of ingredients for a nail polish!

Because they are so well known for their health-properties and amazing antioxidants, they make wonderful additions to your beauty regime, including your nail care.

This polish promises to help your nails in 7 ways by acting as a:

  1. Base coat
  2. Top coat
  3. Growth enhancer
  4. Strengthener
  5. Ridge-filler
  6. Brightener
  7. Moisturiser

That’s a pretty impressive list!

For me personally, I wanted to see if this nail polish could strengthen my nail bed and stop my nails from breaking and peeling.

My nails were ruined from wearing gels/shellac all of last year, so when this pretty little pink bottle landed on my desk I was keen to give it a go.

I’ve found you can wear it two ways: either apply two coats alone for super shiny nails that still show off your natural nail underneath. Or, apply one coat as a base, then two coats of any nail colour you wish, then follow with a final coat of the Sally Hansen 7-in-1 as a top coat for super shiny, healthy nails.

Over the past few weeks of trialling this polish I’ve found that my nails are stronger and growth is a lot quicker as well. I’ve also found that applying this as a top-coat helps my coloured manicures last so much longer as it provides a protective barrier.

Available at Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, Target, Big W, K-Mart, Coles, Woolworths and select pharmacies across Australia from February for $19.95.
