Add To Beauty Basket: Ultraceuticals Hydrating Ultra Replenishing Mask & Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 50+

Being a beauty blogger, I trial a lot of skincare. My face is a canvas and I apply everything from serums to moisturisers and even cloth masks with Picasso precision.

Because of this, whenever I fall head-over-heels for something new I know it must be pretty special!

I’ve been using two products over the past month by the wonderful brand Ultraceuticals. They’re an Australian skincare company founded by cosmetic physician doctor Geoffrey Heber.

The two skincare gems that have my two thumbs up are Ultraceuticals Ultra Replenishing Mask to relieve dry and distressed skin and Ultraceuticals Ultra UV Protection Daily Moisturiser with SPF50+ to fight ageing by blocking nasty UVA and UVB rays.

Here’s a quick breakdown on both products and why you should add them to your beauty basket. If I love them this much, I’m sure you’ll be swooning as well!

Ultraceuticals Ultra Replenishing Mask

What is it: A hydrating, moisturising face mask that sits creamy on the skin.

How to apply it: Apply a generous slather across a freshly cleansed face (use warm water to open up your pores before applying this mask). Avoid eyes and lips. Leave on for ten minutes to give the active ingredients time to work their magic. Alternatively, press any left over residue into your skin. Use 2-3 times a week.

Key ingredients: This mask contains a powerful blend of ‘biomimetic barrier repair agents’ like hyaluronic acid, shea butter, panthenol, ceramide 3 and vitamin E to help replenish vital hydration levels and support the skin’s lipid barrier function – meaning your skin will be able to retain moisture for longer.

How it makes my skin feel: Because I have combination skin with the odd patch of dryness, I love the soothing and hydrating qualities of this mask. It applies quite sheer and light, and sits comfortably on the skin. Sometimes I apply this mask at home and leave it on for a couple of hours while I do some work. When I do wash it off, my complexion looks so glowy and bouncy to touch, which means it has been rehydrated to perfection!

Ultraceuticals Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 50+

What is it: A  light-weight broad spectrum sunscreen.

How to apply it: You only need one pump of this 50+ sunscreen to spread across your entire face and down your neck.

Key ingredients: This sun-safe moisturiser is filled with so many skin-loving moisturising ingredients including sodium hyaluronate, panthenol and niacinamide which all help to support the skin’s lipid barrier function without clogging the pores or leaving an oily residue.

How it makes my skin feel: I love emerging from the shower in the morning and applying this sunscreen to freshly cleansed skin. I never have to worry about it making my skin look shiny or oily and it hydrates my skin feeding it with moisture, rather then sitting heavy, cakey and white on top of my face.

Because this UVA & UVB fighting sunscreen is so enjoyable to wear, I actually use it daily. I don’t think you can find that many sun-safe products that will get you this excited! This sunscreen seriously feels more like a creamy hydrating daily moisturiser than a sunscreen.
