Sephora Fleur de Cotton Moisturising Body Lotion

If you’re looking for an everyday body moisturiser, you can’t go wrong with this one by Sephora. The cotton flower smell can only be described as distinctly feminine and soapy – great if you want people to think you smell extremely clean! Ha!

This moisturiser is light weight and fast absorbing, meaning no oily residue will be left on your skin and the cotton flower extract will keep your skin supple and moisturised all day long.

Shop it: Sephora Fleur de Cotton Moisturising Body Lotion, Sydney Sephora, $12

Rationale Retouch Anti-Ageing Hand Cream

retouch

I’m a big fan of Rationale – they’re an Australian beauty brand / boutique that have mastered skincare for all ages. They are most famous for their ‘Essential Six’ skincare regime that promises to transform your skin with a carefully curated set of products and ingredients.

Rationale’s Retouch Anti-Ageing Hand Cream is just as good – this fresh citrusy weightless cream hydrates the hands leaving them tingling thanks to its powerful peptide-powered anti ageing ingredients. I love this tingle because it means something is actually happening. Some of the ingredients include niacinamide (vitamin B3), and vitamin A (retinol) to help remove dark spots and reverse ageing. Lipids and Ceramides help to restore elasticity to your hands for a youthful look. Lastly floral waters, deuterium oxide, amino acids and electrolyte minerals give instant hydration.

I love the packaging – so chic! This generous pump bottle looks lovely where ever you take it!

Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Nourishing Facial Water

IH_Nourishing_Facial_Water

Next on my Friday Shelfie is Burt’s Bees brand spanking new Intense Hydration Nourishing Facial Water. If you follow me on Instagram you will know I just attended the launch of this beauty newbie.

This product works like a primer before your moisturiser or serums. It allows for the products you layer on afterwards to properly penetrate the skin and work more efficiently – meaning you actually get way more out of your usual skincare regime.

I like to soak a cotton pad with this nourishing water and dab it all over my face.

The key ingredient that makes this fantastic product work is clary sage, a natural botanical found growing on the Mediterranean coast line. This extract has the ability to hydrate your skin instantly, but also allows your skin to retain moisture for hours after you apply it. That’s why this nourishing facial water works so well as a primer to your moisturiser as it allows your skin to soak up the product. I’m in love.

Nu’trir Nourishing Cleansing Oil

I’m such a fan of this Australian made skincare range. Not only is the packaging on point (look at the copper pump!) but the product enclosed is just as wow-worthy.

My favourite product form this skincare line is the Nourishing Cleansing Oil, I’m a big fan of cleansing oils because I find they really do help to remove makeup and clean your skin quickly while leaving your face feeling hydrated and not robbed of moisture.

Nu’trir’s cleansing oil contains rosehip oil, sacha inchi oil (a mountain peanut containing high levels of antioxidants and vitamin A and E) and camu camu (a berry rich in vitamin C). This oil smells so much like the Australian bush. Very fresh, uplifting and slightly eucalyptus-y.

Indeed Laboratories Fillume Volumising Moisturiser

Indeed-Laboratories-Fillume-Volumising-Moisturiser-3999

Last on my Friday Shelfie is this bad boy, Fillume, by one of my favourite skincare brands Indeed Laboratories.

Fillume is a thick, creamy, scentless volumizing facial moisturiser that can be applied to the face and neck both morning and night.

It works to plump and firm your skin giving it a more youthful appearance. You’ll find the texture of your skin smoothed out and fine lines around your eyes and lips will look less deep and no where near as noticeable.

The key ingredients that make this product work are Sesamin, (from sesame seeds), hyaluronic acid, and natural biopolymers to help skin look young and bouncy.

Shop it: Indeed Laboratories Fillume, $39.99

That’s it beauty cadets! Hope you liked this edition. Have you tried any of the above products? What beauty products are currently getting your tick of approval?
