The 5 skincare products you need to get Karlie Kloss’ insanely glowy skin at Balmain’s Paris Fashion Week A/W16 show

I really enjoyed looking through all the photos taken at Balmain’s Paris Fashion Week A/W16 show.

Who doesn’t enjoy ogling at models who have switched their hair colour (looking at you Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid!), checking out what front row attendees are wearing and seeing packs of models pose backstage for ‘girl squad’ shots. It’s pretty naff, but how can you look away?

Apart from the above, what really caught my eye was supermodel Karlie Kloss’s radiant, super glowy skin. It was almost alien-like perfect.

If the above image is giving you skin-envy, here are 5 products you need in your bathroom to replicate Karlie’s high-sheen cheeks and youthful skin.

A Foaming Milk Cleanser

Boost your skin with active botanicals like arctic cloudberry (even the name sounds divine!) nordic cotton and willowbark extracts – all of which will give your skin a beautiful glow.

I love this formula – it’s very silky when you rub it between your fingertips, and it quickly turns into a frothy foam when massaged onto the face allowing for a deep pore clean out.

Shop it: Ole Henriksen Empower Foaming Milk Cleanser, $35 AUD

A Glycolic Face Scrub

It’s important to give your skin a good scrub at least three times a week to allow dead skin cells to shift making way for a healthy sheen – just like Karlie’s radiant cheeks.

I love Skinstitut’s scrub featuring an amazing 14% glycolic acid. Because there is such a high dosage, you will feel this fine-gritty exfoliator tingling away at the skin as it eats up dead cells and any remaining grime.

If you have sensitive skin, only use this once to twice a week, and only leave on for thirty seconds as it’s quite powerful.

Shop it: Skinstitut  Glycolic Scrub (14%), $45

A Super Hydrating Face Mask

Ultraceuticals Ultra Replenishing Mask

The trick to glowing skin that looks bouncy and full of life is to make sure it’s super-duper hydrated. If you’re not already drinking 8+ glasses of water a day, start, and also make time to give your skin a treat by applying a hydrating face mask weekly.

I’ve said it before, but I am in love with Ultraceuticals Ultra Replenishing Mask. It feels like a rich and creamy, gel-like moisturiser and will instantly plump up skin tissue thanks to a generous dose of hyaluronic acid (this ingredient boosts moisture and even helps to retain it for many hours to come). I like to leave this mask on for at least half an hour before washing off.

Shop it: Ultraceuticals Ultra Replenishing Mask, $68

A Skin Boosting Nightly Marine-Collagen Serum

Before bed, smear on Transformulas Marine Miracle Night Repair Serum. This aqua blue gel contains ‘microencapsulated oxygen’ which basically helps form an invisible support over the skin feeding it with essential vitamins. Your skin will look young, fresh and firm.

Shop it: Transformulas Marine Miracle Night Repair Serum, $69

A Pre-Makeup Moisture Infusion Serum

mac prep and prime moisture infusion

Anyone who thinks applying serum before makeup is a no-no is silly. To get a glowy complexion, a skin boosting, hydrating serum will give you a dewy finish to rival any supermodel.

I recommend using MAC’s Prep+Prime Moisture Infusion Serum Hydratant because it has been formulated to wear under your makeup, meaning it won’t cause any slide and it will create a great base for a glowy look.

This serum also doubles as a primer so you’re ready to start applying your base as soon as it’s absorbed.

Shop it: MAC Prep+Prime Moisture Infusion Serum Hydratant, $65

That’s it lovelies! Do you love Karlie Kloss? Which celebrity do you think has amazing skin?
