Margherita Missoni’s Makeup and Beauty Tips: Get her whimsical natural makeup beauty look thanks to Modelrock Lashes

Margherita and Chantelle

I adore Italian beauty Margherita Missoni.

She’s the stunning brunette daughter and heiress to the Missoni fashion house – you know, the peeps that make those vibrant and super gorgeous chevron and stripy kaftans, maxi dresses, bikini’s and chic beach towels.

Side note: Target has even currently scored a collaboration with the iconic Italian designer, so you can nab some of their pieces for s smidgen of the price.

Back to the point, Margs attended Melbourne’s Derby Day race meet at Flemington Racecourse (yes, she flew all the way over from Europe to drink G.H Mumm champagne, have a few bets on the horsies and to party with Australian socialites!).

Modelrock lashes helped her get trackside ready by sending out celebrity makeup artist Chantelle Baker to apply their famous and oh-so-natural false eyelashes and a limited layer of barely there makeup.

If you love Margarita Missoni’s flower crown and natural makeup just as much as I do (it would look fabulous at weddings, birthday parties, New Year’s Eve – the list goes on!) follow my how-to below.

Get Margherita Missoni’s natural beauty look

Step 1. Apply a light layer of Dior’s Diorskin Star foundation. This formular is light weight, glowy but importantly long lasting. I warm up the foundation with my fingertips before blending it onto the planes of my face. $77 from Myer

innoxa eyebrow pencil

Step 2. Time to frame your face with amazing brows. I’ve been loving Innoxa’s Eyebrow Pencil. You can choose from two shades, a very dark chocolate and a lighter brown. The pencil also have a small bristled brush on the end so that you can easily comb out any harsh lines. $20.95

Step 3.  Take Benefit’s Peek A Bright box. This kit contains everything you will ever need to create standout natural eye makeup. I’m guessing that if you’re reading this post – this is a highly coveted look for you. Blend the brown eyeshdow up to your eyelid crease, take the light illuminating white powder and add it to the inner corner of your eyes and presto! $59 from Myer

Step 4. Time to fake long, naturally fluttery eyelashes. Chantelle Baker used Modelrock’s regular sized individual lashes. Each individual lash has a few delicate prongs and a knot at the bottom to allow you to place a small amount of glue and then tweezer them into position on your natural eyelash line. $11.95 for a pack of 60 individuals

bobbi brown highlight powder

Step 5.  To add a pretty shimmer and rouge to your cheeks, sweep Bobbi Brown’s Highlight Powder in Bronze Glow over your cheeks, hairline and along the ridge of your nose. $80

Step 6. Margs only has a natural pink balm on her lips. for this, I recommend Covergirl’s Smoochies. The wind up balm comes in many fruity colourful pens that smell fantastic and have a subtle pink pigment. I have a few in my kit. $4.95 form Priceline

Step 7. Lastly find yourself a flower crown! Fresh is best, but faux will go. It’s really up to you sunshine!
