Julianne Hough Strolls In Style: The Rule Of Thumb To Get Her Look
I’ve always said it – pulling off ‘relaxed-chic’ is definitely harder than creating an outfit that is polished and glam. Perplexed? Let me explain.
Anyone can look gorgeous in an Oscar De La Renta gown. When you consider the expert cut, the luxe materials used, and the many hours taken to execute the bespoke design that has the female form at the forefront – a bag of potatoes would look stunning when cloaked in such a dress!
However, if you are given low-rider chinos, a slouchy knit and comfy flats – only the most stylish can make this combination appear très chic.
Julianne Hough – a.k.a Mega Babe, is my case in point. Her Helmut Lang trousers are so mod, with their relaxed crutch and cigarette pant, that most of us would find them hard to pull off. Yet miss Hough has teamed them with what looks like a timeless cashmere knit and trendy animal print loafers and looks incredible as she strolls the streets of L.A.
She’c casually slung a Cynthia Vincent handbag over her shoulder which definitely completes her look.
This ensemble is SO easy to recreate yourself, but initially hard to dream up in the beginning. Luckily we have labels like Bassike, T by Alexander Wang, Paul & Joe, Acne and Rick Owens – all of which have mastered low-key super chic dressing. Their pieces are of the best quality and can all be paired and mixed together to provide the most effortless street style.
