Christmas Gift Wrapping For Adults – The Chicest Paper, sticky tape, twine plus Lanvin holiday cards!
Tis the season to be jolly!
I’m the type of person who gets a big kick out of presenting friends and family with gifts that I know they will love.
I’m also one of those last-minute people, however, who heads out to Westfield two days before the 25th of December to buy a trolly full of gifts – you see I embrace that manic time, in fact I actually find it fun and it’s something I’ve been told I excel at.
One thing I don’t leave to the last minute, though, is buying my wrapping bits and bobs for Christmas presents.
I’m a crafty kind of gal, and I honestly believe the way you dress a gift lifts the level of excitement for the receiver when they carefully open up the paper.
Jamie Oliver is famous for describing that half the enjoyment of devouring a dish is eating it with your eyes first – I believe this is true with presents as well!
Below are four items everyone needs in order to wrap a gift well this holiday season:
1) Trendy paper that is thick and high quality
2) Gift cards that are worth treasuring
3) A variety of ribbon or twine to add extra embellishment
4) Sticky tape to seal down all the corners of your paper – and why not let it be cute while you’re at it?
Here are the four gift-wrapping pieces that made me go gaga this Christmas:
Clock wise from top: 1) Kraft paper – Antique Gold from Papier D’Amour, 2) Lanvin Happy Holidays Gift Cards (set of 10) from Net-A-Porter, 3) Baker’s Twine – Red and White from Papier D’Amour, 4) Roll of Gold Glitter Sparkle Adhesive Tape from Etsy
